WHEN JANE AND LUCAS ARGUE…
JANE – I can’t believe you did that to me !
LUCAS –Did what ?
JANE –You cheated on me. You went behind my back. You lied to me. You’re selfish, egotistical and self-centred ! I hate you !
L –But I don’t understand, Jane. What have I done ?
JANE –What have you done ? What have you done ? Come on, I’m not stupid, you know. I saw you with that girl yesterday.
L –What girl ?
JANE –When I left you yesterday lunchtime, I forgot to give you back your jumper. So I ran back to your hotel to give it to you. That’s when I saw you with her.
L –But who are you talking about ?
JANE –That girl with the poney tail. I can’t believe you kissed me and told me you loved me. You lied. I hate you ! In fact, I hate French boys! I never want to see you again !
L –But, Jane. Stop, don’t go ! I can explain …
JANE –It’s too late, Lucas. You had your chance and you’ve ruined it !
LATER, AT THE HOTEL
JANE’S MOTHER – Don’t worry, Jane, it’s not the end of the world. There are plenty more fish in the sea. Come on, don’t cry.
JANE – I know, mum, but I can’t believe he did that to me. I’m so unhappy.
MOTHER -But are you sure you saw him with another girl ? Maybe it was just a friend.
JANE - But he gave her a kiss, mum. I saw them together.
MOTHER –Why don’t you go and speak to him and at least wait for him to give you an explanation. You shouldn’t jump to conclusions.
JANE –I know, but I can’t go. I told him I don’t want to speak to him again. Ever !
MOTHER – Jane, tomorrow is our last day here. After that, you won’t see Lucas again. Then you will be upset for weeks. You’ve got to talk to him. Don’t be stubborn.
JANE –I’ll think about it. But I don’t want to see him today. He’s probably laughing at me right now. He probably thinks I’m really stupid. A stupid English girl.
MOTHER – Well, if you want me or your dad to come with you, just tell us, won’t you, dear ? Please don’t be sad.
JANE –But I am sad. How could he do that to me ? He lied to me. He told me he loved me !

Pauvre Jane... Bon, moi je parie qu'ils vont s'expliquer, que c'était sa soeur, sa cousine ou je sais pas, et qu'ils vont retourner ensemble !
